ANNOUNCEMENT: With Great Sadness...

...I bring the news that this is the last post here on M&M ~ Music Mania. I know since its opening last December that this blog has become pretty popular, but with all the drama surrounding it, I'm done with this place. These last couple of weeks every time I was posting music it was getting deleted within hours, and I think it is a waste of my time, thanks to all of you jealous bastards.

But! I am not leaving without bringing in some good news! I am leaving M&M, but I am also opening up a brand new, better blog! My new blog will be called La Place de Musique, and it will be launched in a couple of days. So ta ta for now.

NEW MUSIC: Brandy ~ "Long Distance"

Sometime later this year Brandy will be releasing her much anticipated album ''Human''. Her first single "Right Here" is becoming an instant classic, and it seems she will be releasing her second single "Long Distance" very shortly. "Long Distance" is a nice soul / r&b track, which also has a great meaning to it. The song is very empowering, and I think it will do great on the soul charts! Enjoy!

Even though his album ''Graffiti'' should be coming out early next year, Chris Brown is still releasing singles from ''Exclusive''. Here we have his hopefully last single, "Super Human" with Keri Hilson. The song is a great r&b track, that gives me the chills every time I listen to it. The video for the song is kinda sad, but Chris and Keri look really good together! I don't think this will chart well, but it is still one of a hell of a song! Enjoy the video!!

DISCOVER & DOWNLOAD: Foxy Brown ~ "Riker's Island"

These past years Foxy Brown has gone through a lot including a feud with Lil' Kim, losing her hearing, and going to jail. Her mixtape ''Brooklyn's Don Diva'' was released back in May, and this Christmas she plans on releasing her first full-length album after 7 years. Here we have her possible first single "Riker's Island" a mediocre hip-hop / reggae song, which sounds a bit like Lil' Kim's "Caribbean Connection" which leaked earlier this summer. I don't know how I feel about this, but we'll see. Enjoy this though!!

VIDEO PREMIERE: Beyonce ~ "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)

Tomorrow the legendary Beyonce will be making history releasing to very different single, the ballad "If I Were a Boy" and her upbeat pop / r&b song "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)". "Single Ladies" is very catchy, though a bit of a grower. The video just like for "If I Were a Boy", was shot in black and white and just features Beyonce and 2 girls dancing some hardcore moves in a gymnast outfit. This song is actually better than "If I Were a Boy" and this will do much better in my opinion. Enjoy it!!

Pop / electronic newcomer, Lady GaGa has been a sensation this past summer with her hit "Just Dance" featuring Colby O'Donis and Akon. She has now moved to her second single "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich" off her album, ''The Fame''. "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich" is a dance / electro track, which is still kinda growing onto me. The video for the song is a bit like the video for "Just Dance", and I must say features a lot of money in it! Overall, I still think she will get a another hit out of this. Enjoy!!

VIDEO PREMIERE: Beyonce ~ "If I Were a Boy"

Next week r&b / pop singer Beyonce will be releasing two new singles "Single Ladies" & "If I Was a Boy" off her forthcoming album ''I Am...''. "If I Were a Boy" is a pop / soul ballad, with some very strong lyrics, but still a bit dull. The video for the track is very raw, and even though B doesn't sing in the song, it still has a great message to it. The song has grown onto me a bit from the video, but compared to Britney Spears' new music, Beyonce has no chance. Enjoy this though!

This December Britney Spears will be dropping her newest album ''Circus''. Her first single "Womanizer" has began an instant classic from the couple of weeks it has been in release. If you don't already know know "Womanizer" is an uptempo pop track with a hell of a catchy course. The video, is that, and so much more! She is naked throughout mos of the video looking just gorgeous, and I really love the storyline following the song. This is easily going to be this year's top video! Enjoy it!!

After a 3 year-long hiatus, hip-hop / pop group, The Black Eyed Peas are finally aiming for their comeback! This week the group which includes members like Willi.iAm and Fergie, finished recording their fifth album ''The E.N.D.'' in London! But don't worry, they are not breaking up! ''The E.N.D.'' stands for ''The Energy Never Dies''. The group is currently deciding about joining back with A&M Records, which is pressuring the album release very quickly. The video, is a bit like Lil' Mama's "Shawty Get Loose", but it is still very funky and cool. Hey there music fanatic! It is the one and only, CharoogAjram here with a special announcement. As you probably have noticed, many, and I mean many posts have been getting deleted off this blog. So I don't want everyone thinking that I'm doing this for no reason. Actually, Blogger and artists' record labels are the ones doing this. Britney Spears' newest song "Womanizer" was deleted off this blog for no apparent reason. Akon's newest track "I'm So Paid", which was just posted yesterday is now gone as well. The Pussycat Dolls just released their sophomore album, ''Doll Domination'' 2 weeks ago. Led off by the successful single "When I Grow Up", the girls are now making way for their newest single "Whatcha Think About That" featuring Missy Elliot. The album version of the song is a great, catchy pop song. The video uses a remix, which is a bit annoying. The video like the remix, is kinda bad, and has nothing special to it. The Dolls had way better potential with this track, and they will most probably moving to their third single in a matter of weeks. Enjoy this though!

HOT STORY: Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods Kicked Out of Danity Kane!

Making the Band's pop girl group, Danity Kane has been in the spotlight this last month with many rumors swirling about the 5 music making girls. And now the biggest news to drop, is the most shocking. Sources are claiming that right before a Baby Phat Fashion Show, Diddy held an exclusive meeting with the girls. The meeting was then turned into a screaming match when Aubrey O'Day went about about member Dawn Richard branching off into a solo record. After more drama Diddy told Aubrey that she was out of the group. He then went off on D. Woods saying that he heard she was unhappy as well, and that she was out also! It has been mentioned that this footage may be appearing on the Making the Band 4.3 finale this Tuesday on MTV! Hope it's not true!

EDIT: It appears that the group's debut album, ''Danity Kane'' has been removed off of iTunes. Maybe this is a hint?

HOT STORY: Some Details on Upcoming Music Videos!

These next couple of months, some very big music videos are set to premiere! And before they premiere, lots of important information has been released. Some videos and some details simultaneously announced include T.I. and Rihanna filming their video for "Livin' Your Life" the first week of October. Also it has been confirmed by Melody Thornton of The Pussycat Dolls, that the group will be filming a video already for their third single "I Hate This Part". The video is supposed to be very dirty and set in the desert. PCD will also be premiering the video for their second single "Whatcha Think About That" sometime soon aswell. Britney Spears is currently filming her video for her single "Womanizer" as I type this and the video will be featuring her will black hair! In addition, Lady GaGa and Katy Perry will be premiering the videos for there singles "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich" and "Hot N' Cold" very soon! And lastly, it has been confirmed that Madonna will NOT be shooting a video for her 3rd single, "Miles Away"! We can be expecting most these videos to premiere from the end of this month to early November!

HOT STORY: Natasha Bedingfield Is Engaged!

British pop singer, Natasha Bedingfield, 26, is ready to walk down the aisle! Reports are saying she just got engaged to her boyfriend Matthew Robinson. "It just happened," she told People Magazine on the red carpet at a Calvin Klein 40th anniversary party. "But I am so excited. It happened in New York. And I want to share it with the world." Bedingfield didn't have too many more details to share. "We haven't thought about a date," she said. "We're just celebrating."

It's been a whirlwind week in New York for the singer. Bedingfield performed at the Fashion Rocks event and recently teamed with Mariah Carey and Beyonce on the song "Just Stand Up," which they benefits breast cancer foundations. LIVE PERFORMANCE: Lil' Wayne, Leona Lewis, & T-Pain ~ "Medley"

At last night's VMA's many singers made a huge surprise and joined fellow artists with their songs. One of those included a just spectacular medley of songs performed by Lil' Wayne, Leona Lewis, and T-Pain. The intro was Leona singing a very old song called "Misunderstood" but she added her flair to it. Then all of the sudden Weezy's beat began in the background and before you know it it was a mega mix of all his greatest including "A Milli". Eventually T-Pain joined him and made this whole thing even better. Definitely check out this history-making performance! Enjoy!

HOT STORY: All of the Official Performers for the 2008 VMA's Announced!

With the 25th annual VMA's this Sunday it is about time that all of the performers were finally announced. This year is going to be huge, and with many, many surprises. The show will end with a performance by Kanye West who swore last year he would never return again. Also set to sing are T.I. and Rihanna together with their song "Livin' Your Life". Christina Aguilera will then make her long-awaited comeback with her 1999 single "Genie in a Bottle" as well as her brand new single. HOT STORY: Why Robin Thicke Isn't On the Cover of Vibe Magazine!

This week, soul-pop singer Robin Thicke speaks in the new issue of Billboard Magazine about many things, like his upcoming album, and why he wasn't allowed to be on the cover of Vibe Magazine. He said in another interview with Vibe, he asked why he couldn't get the cover. Their response: they don’t have white artists on the cover; that the only white artist they’ve had on the cover was Eminem. Thicke replied with, "I guess if that’s what it is, it is what it is. And I respect that because I live in a house with a black woman."

Thicke didn't make it a big issue, but now fans and many others are lashing out to Vibe Magazine calling them "rasict" among many other things. As a subscriber of this magazine, I'm starting to have some second thoughts. Robin issued a final statement saying "You can’t always expect people to be as color-blind or open-minded as you want. What you can do is keep giving your heart and soul". His album, ''Something Else'' will be in stores later this year!

HOT STORY: American Idol Gets a Fourth Judge!

Next January, American Idol will return back to TV for its incredible eighth season! But this year, there are going to be a few changes to the show. With auditions about to begin in a matter of days, Ryan Seacrest has released word that American Idol will be getting another judge to join Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. She is award winning songwriter and producer Kara DioGuardi.

Kara has done may work for many previous Idols including Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. She also has worked with the hit makers Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Gwen Stefani, among many others. Reactions so far have been mixed, and Paula released a statement saying she doesn't know how the audience will be accepting her. American Idol resumes in January 2009 on FOX.

Britney Spears, has been literally all over the place these last 2 years, shaving her head, performing horribly at the MTV VMA's, recording her album ''Blackout'', going through legal troubles, and so much more. After finally getting her life back into the shape it was before she met ex, Kevin Federline, Britney has sat down for an exclusive interview with OK Magazine. This was her first interview in years, and she dishes us all the dirt on her life and sons. She really sounds like an amazing mom and I'm really proud of her for that. "Do you sing to the boys?
I do. I actually wrote a song for my new album about them called "My Baby". It's a real beautiful song.

Do the boys sing?
Yes. I'll start, and they'll join in.

Have you taught them to swim?
They both jump in the water. Well, [Jayden James] almost jumps in. [Sean] Preston will jump in, and then JJ thinks he can but then he jumps to me and screams, 'mommy, mommy, mommy,' the whole time.

Do the boys share a room here?
They have separate rooms upstairs by my room.

Are the boys getting into how they look?
[Sean] Preston is. He wants his shirt and shoes. He'll tell me what he wants to wear.

What are you doing for their birthdays?
I want to have a traditional party, a joint party for both of them. I have some friends with kids who I am going to invite. There will probably be about 15 or 20 of us. There is going to be homemade ice cream. Probably my dad will make that. We'll have the jumpers and bouncers.

How do you feel about your boys getting into the entertainment business?
If they want to do it, and if they are talented enough, I would support them. But they'd have to express an interest on their own.

Would you like to see them pursue it?
I'd rather not, but I'd love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I'd just as soon they have a more normal childhood.

Do you cook a lot?
I do. Usually, the maid and I will cook together.

What's your house specialty?
I love rice and baked chicken. We'll cook that together, and the kids love my spaghetti. I think for some reason they like my spaghetti better than what they have at their dad's house.

What's special about Mom's spaghetti?
I think it's my sauce. I make it with love, and I make it from scratch."

The diva of pop music, Mariah Carey has recently come back into the limelight with her hit album ''E=MC²'', and her singles have been doing pretty well internationally. HOT STORY: Pharrell Is Gonna Be a Daddy!

Pharrell Williams is about to become a father. The lead singer of the rock / hip-hop group N.E.R.D. and the Neptunes producer has a baby on the way with a model he met with his friends in Miami earlier this year. The New York Post is reporting the identified mommy as "very pregnant and travels with him. She hangs out with the backstage crew when he performs." Pharrell has supposedly been very quiet about the pregnancy and will not release any details.

I personally never thought Pharrell would be daddy. I mean he is just to feminine and if he has a son, oh god help that boy! Lol, but in the end I wish him and his secret girlfriend the best! Hopefully more information will be emerging soon!

HOT STORY: Britney's New Songs Bash Her Family
& Justin Timberlake?!

Most recently Britney Spears has been trying to get her life back in shape, but now her family is forcing her to get back into the recording studio and start work on her new album. But just because she is back recording, it doesn't mean she's happy about it! Britney is supposedly very pissed at her parents, and she is expressing some anger toward them in some of her new songs.

She is singing very openly about her beef with her mom, and she is not hiding anything. The diss track is called "ATM" and insiders are reporting it contains the following lyrics: "Hey Mama, I know it's my cash you seek... You know they treat me like an ATM, but y'all know that I'm too good for 'em."

Also, she is supposedly working on a song about her ex, Justin Timberlake. In the track called "Already Bad" she hints that JT wasn't her first love or the person she, you know, lost it to. Here are some it's lyrics: "I know you thought you were the first, but I had already quenched my thirst, I was already bad."

Her new album is expected to drop right in time for the holidays, sometime in mid-December. Sources also tell us the songs will be very uptempo and similar to her previous album ''Blackout''. I hope these tracks leak soon, and I hope her all the best of luck with his new project and her drama filled life.

Last month, r&b singer Ashanti released her 4th album, ''The Declaration''. Her first single "The Way That I Love U" was not the hit it deserved to be. HOT STORY: Jennifer Lopez Says Adios To Her Restaurant!

Now that J.Lo is busy mothering four-month-old twins and getting her pre-babies body back, the bride of Marc Anthony has shut down her Pasadena, CA restaurant Madre’s, TMZ.com reports. The Latin restaurant had been open for more than 6 years, an as of July 1st, it held a sign saying it would be closed until further notice.

Madre’s was not just a Latin eatery where the chef whipped up yummy empanadas, but a kitchen where a whole lot of scandal was also cooking. During the opening of the restaurant in 2002, Jennifer was still married to backup dancer Cris Judd, and was ''meeting with'' future ex-fiance, Ben Affleck. J.Lo and Ben were spotted chatting over ceviche at the restaurant, and a mere two months later, J.Lo and Cris were rumored to be splitting.

Back in April, pop girl group Girlicious, was assembled on the TV show The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. Now, the girls are preparing to release an album later this month. Here is a new Timbaland-produced track called "Leftovers". I really love the foreign beat, and the song really features all the girls vocals. I also like the Cher-added effects in some of parts of the song. Since their last 2 singles didn't do as well as planned, I'm hoping this can be their new single. Enjoy!!

Reagge / pop / r&b duo Brick & Lace rose to fame last year with theri hit singles "Love Is Wicked" and "Never Never". They are set to release an album very soon, and here is an new track set to appear on the album. The song is called "Bad to Di Bone" and it is very upbeat and very different from their other singles.
